The BlackBerry Got Game Port-a-Thon is all scheduled on 16th November,2012 and just for the knowledge this will be a 36 hour event that will help not only developers to build some awesome games for RIM’s upcoming BlackBerry10 platform but also they will get to learn and earn a lot in a way.
Things to remember while presenting gaming applications during event:
- Collect $100 USD for each gaming app approved (max – 20 apps)
- Submit 2- 5 approved gaming applications to receive BlackBerry PlayBook
- First 100 contestants to present 5-10 approved game applications will get BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device
- First 10 contestants to present 10 – 20 approved game applications will receive a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device and a trip to Game Developers Conference in San Francisco in the year 2013.
The BlackBerry platform supports popular gaming engines such as Shiva3D, Unity and Marmalade etc which will surely help gaming developers to speedily create games having some unique features & capabilities however all the gaming features together with Competitions, Leaderboards and other elements are supported by Scoreloop SDK.
