Today we all witnessed the release of much awaited Windows 8 by Microsoft. There were many speculations and rumors but since it has been released today worldwide it will bring down all the rumors. I was not sure whether my BlackBerry Desktop Software will work well with this new Operating system from Microsoft as i’m already prepared to upgrade it since my user experience was good with the evaluation copy of Microsoft Windows 8.
BlackBerry Desktop Software is perfectly compatible and will function smooth on Microsoft Windows 8, however the only requirement is Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or later must be installed on the system. You can click to download Microsoft .NET 3.5 framework. In addition, RIM indicates that there is an updated version of BlackBerry Desktop Software which will be released totally free of cost, which will be having some enhanced and superior features which will be exclusively designed for proving an all round experience for Windows 8 users (Although the current version is working). Till then we can just wait and watch and lets hope for the best.
