BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.1.0.1088 officially available for download

In the morning when I switched on my BlackBerry Playbook, I was surprised to find out another update was available for my Playbook to Os 2.1.0.1088. If you remember we recently got upgraded to OS version 2.1 almost 3 weeks before but since then there were complaint about few bugs and crashes while working on this version of OS.

So if you are using BlackBerry Playbook and facing trouble while operating your tablet smoothly ( Many users were complaining about the lost in contact details and calendars, also it freezes sometimes while working) and your work is suffering then you to upgrade your OS to this version. Today BlackBerry Playbook Officially got an updated OS to version 2.1.0.1088. Although the lost data can not be retrieved but this update will make sure this won’t happen in near future. At present this update is only available for BlackBerry PlayBook Wi-Fi because BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE needs carrier approval before update.

Note: This update is not for BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE – Click Here to update BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE to OS2.1

Just installed the upgrade. I noticed quite an improvement in loading Web pages.

Update fails, infinite loop of downloading the “please wait” which I left alone for more than 24 hours, still says “please wait” than it downloads the 338MB download again only to fail. No wonder this company is going under, can’t even get a simple install right.
